The Bluewhale file transfer system consists of a server component, Bluewhale Server, and three clients: Bluewhale for Outlook, Bluewhale Desktop (Java Webstart) and the browser client. Bluewhale Server integrates with Active Directory and your preferred antivirus software. Files are stored as zip-files in a normal file system for easy backup and restore operations. Go to Bluewhale Server support Bluewhale Clients Bluewhale for Outlook Add-in for Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010. Large attachments are automatically intercepted and uploaded to the Bluewhale Server. Go to Bluewhale for Outlook support Bluewhale Desktop (Java Webstart) Installs automatically and is very easy to use. Runs on any system that supports Java (minimum JRE version 1.4.2), e.g. Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.3-10.7 and Linux. Go to Bluewhale Desktop support Bluewhale browser client Bluewhale can be used directly from any internet connected computer with a recent web browser. Just navigate to your Bluewhale Server, enter your login and you are ready to send large files. Bluewhale Google Gadget It's now possible to use Bluewhale directly from your Gmail account. To activate the Bluewhale Google Gadget click "Settings" in Gmail and choose "Gadgets". Insert the following URL in the textbox: https://bwserver.bluewhale.dk/googlegadget.xml
If the "Gadgets" tab is missing, it must be activated on the "Labs" tab ("Add any gadget by URL"). Receiving files No special client or account is needed. Just click on the file names or click on "Download all" to download all the files as a single zip-file.  Support clients Bluewhale support subscriptions include remote support.
